When I was 4 I took a candy bar from the store. I was eating it in the backseat and my parents noticed just as we got home. My dad drove right back to the store marched me into the store and made me tell the security guard I stole the candy bar. The security guard told me I could have gone to jail for that and it's a good thing that my dad brought me back to tell them and to pay for it. Then he told me that the next time I stole something I would be going to jail. Then when I got home my dad whooped my butt and that was the end of my thieving career.
lol. I stole a 16 pack of Crayola crayons when I was 7. I felt so bad, I hid them under my bed and did not use even 1. I looked so miserable my mom kept asking me what was wrong and I could not tell her, I was so ashamed. About 2 weeks after my successful theft, my sister and I were allowed to go with some friends to the mall. I took those crayons BACK to the store and placed them on a shelf, untouched.I finally felt better.Nothing ever felt as bad as knowing I was a low down, dirty, thief that stoke sonething that did not belong to me. I did not let my mother know this story until after I was 40 years old...I'm over 60, now.
My oldest son ( 34 now) went into the store with me.I was paying, & unbeknownst to me he is filling his pockets with candy. We get to the car, & he is pulling things out of his pockets. We pulled him out of his car seat, & walked him back into the store. Explained to the cashier he pocketed, & walked out with the candy. She replied, It was only a couple of pieces of candy." I said, Yes, but, in the future it may be just a car, or something else. 🙄
SO.....teach and correct him not to steal..I did not hear you. correct him.
my son stole a bracelet he found at Mervyns, he was about that age. When we got home, he showed me and I turned around and took him back to the store. I made him walk up to the checker and tell her he took without paying. never did that again. they know it was wrong so it has to be dealtbwith.💕
When I took my 3 kids school supply shopping at Walmart, we got out to the car and there was a bottle of glue left in the cart I didn’t pay for. I put the bags in the car and took my 3 kids back into the store to pay for the glue. Principles matter.
I went shopping with my son he was about 3 than. He would steal gum or other things little things. I told him when I saw he was going to get a beating when he got home (I had never even hit him before) took him to the store security and he scolded my son. When we got home, he put on about 20 pair of underwearwear so when I went to spank him, I had a really hard time not busting a gut laughing. I don't think he felt it at all. But to my knowledge he did not steal again.
We caught my baby girl with a pocket full of candy from a gas station once. We had made it home. I made her bring it all and added tax to the prices then made her count HER money out of her piggy bank and we drove her back to take all the items back into the gas station and made her pay for them, AND I charged her $5 for gas because I had to drive her back.
My son stole a chap stick when he was around 6. I marched him back into the store and said, tell the lady what you did. He wouldn’t say a word. I said, he stole this chap stick. Go ahead and call the police. The look on his face when I said that was priceless! He never did that again!
He’s too young to know what stealing is! He wanted and he took it!
When my son was 13 (38 now), he stole some Pokémon cards. My husband and I went to the store and talked with the manager. They let him go. I told the manager to please send the police to our house and we'd meet them there. We get home, and our son is sitting outside looking pitiful. The police arrived shortly. I went to her and asked if she could read him his rights, handcuff him, and put him in the back of her car. She did, and we had a 30-minute conversation while my son sat in the back of that patrol car. Finally, she let him out. I made him write a letter of apology to the store manager. Sad thing, he HAD money to buy the cards!!🤔
Took my 3 year old son straight back in the store when I found candy down in his sweat pant legs when I put him in the car. Local private owned store and the owner was working. I made him tell Bob what he did and give him the candy and Bob snatched him up and told him next time he was going to have to clean the toilets all day if he did it again. Never had another problem. Bob always gave the kids suckers. He took his sucker back that day.
I stole a doll from the store when I was 5yrs old, I never forgot that azz whoopin’, I’m 47. 😂😂😂😂
when i was 12, I stole fake fingernails from the store. the security guard stopped us at the door. my mom made them call the cops and they literally arrested me. took me to the sub station and.put.me in a cell. about 30 minutes later my mom came to get me but man I was in big trouble
My sister stole a pack of gum at the store. Mom saw her open it in the car, turned around, and marched her into the store to bring it back and apologize. It taught all five of us kids with one quick lesson! None of us ever stole anything!
he said don't be mad at me if I stole it lol
My mom made me take a stuffed animal I stole from the drug store back and she made me tell them what I did. I was about 9. Never so embarrassed in ally life. That was the end of my thieving ways😅
When I was about 13, I stole a tube of that roll on kissing gloss from Gibsons. Or I should say I tried to steal. On the way out the door this big old woman that was a security guard grab me by the back of my shirt lifted me off my feet And took me to security room. She kept saying we were waiting on the police. I kept saying call my mama. She said we’re waiting on the police I said please call my mama. she kept me there for an hour while I cried. Then she told me if you ever steal from the store again you will go to jail and she sent me home. I am 62 and proud to say I never stole anything since.
My 15 year old daughter & her 15 year old friend took her friends parents car for a "joy ride" while the parents were out of town. The only way the parents knew was because of the difference in the mileage. BTW, neither girl had their driving permit. The mom & I marched those two to the police station & the Captain proceded to lecture these girls & scare the shewaddens out of them. By the time we left, the girls practically wet themselves. Lesson learned.
We are forever marked by our 1st "crime". When I was 6, I stole a Zero candy bar. Because of how it unfolded (too long to bore everyone here), to this day I have never eaten another & even seeing one in the checkout lane makes me nauseous. I'm now 80.😆
my then 3 yr old stole a candy bar from Albertsons. I found it when we got home after id told him no at the store. we went back in gave it back to the cashier and said I'm sorry. she was like wow there needs to be more parents like you! lol
Don't be mad that he showed you. Don't be mad that he did it. By being mad, you're just teaching him not to be honest with you. Instead, use this as a lesson. Make him admit it to the daycare. Make him apologize. And let him know what could happen if he steals again.
My two sisters and I walked over to the corner market and we stole a Hershey’s candy bar and put it in our underwear. This was the middle of July extremely hot and by the time we got home it had melted. My mother saw us trying to wash off our butts in the yard and made us go back and pay for the candy bars. Back then a regular Hershey’s candy bar cost $.15. Never stole anything else again that was so messy.💕
When my neighbor's teenage son and some of his friends stole a deer figurine out of my garden and broke it, my neighbor made him pay me for the cost of the figurine. I felt bad for the kid, but I'm sure it taught him a lesson.
I would have made him take it back the next day and I would have made him apologize. also, where did he learn what stealing is, someone taught him.
I still would have punished him. He knew it was wrong. That's why he didn't want his dad to be mad at him.
The first time my granddaughter “ lied” to her mother my daughter called we literally lived within walking distance from each other. So I came over ~ my granddaughter had asked for a yogurt and then just threw it away and lied about it ( she was maybe 4). I asked her remember when we discussed telling tall tales she said yes ~ but mommy said I lied! Well a tall tale is just like a lie and yes you did lie 🤨
You wouldnt be in more trouble if you told me the truth, but you are going to return it and apologize and there will be discipline for stealing
wow 4 years old. I hope he gets a lesson he won't forget
I did it in neiborhood store, however I was caught by my father before we left store, made me put it back and apologized! Got a spanking and punishment also! First time, however I knew better!🙏🙏🌸
😂😂👏🏽👏🏽🥰🙏🏾
I stole one of those small pkg cherry pies. My parents never knew but I felt so guilty…never did that again.
I took a candy bar from cvs. Mom saw it and took me back with it no more
I would be making that kid take that book back to the daycare and apologize to them for if you don’t you be having a big problem in your hands on his later years. It needs to stop now.
I would be upset the fact that he took something that was not his. I would sit him down and explain to him that we do not steal we do not take things that don't belong to us. and then the next day going back to daycare I would make him apologize to his teacher and to the principal of his daycare. that should do it! no need to yell or scream.
my daughter took candy when I said no saw it in the car. I took her back to the pharmacy and told her to apologize to owner and put it back. He was kind when she apologized through her tears.....never an issue again🙏
did he say it was from daycare or Day camp either way it was probably one of their books that they read from and he just brought it home but he didn't steal it I don't know I'm confused about it but any more of these films they don't finish showing what's going on anyway then
I've seen parents today encouraging their kids to steal. so sad for those children
I put a spider in mine when I was small . My mother ask do you want a spider I said mommy I already have one and pulled open my pants. That’s when I learned that was one way of stealing
Stole and lied about it. Need some consequences. However, I understand what leads to those actions at that young age.
Thieves always start like that. Then the drugs then the tv’s
If you don’t correct them when they’re in the high chair, chances are they’ll wind up in the electric chair. Just saying…
My son wanted a candy bar from the grocery store and I told him no because he had snacks at home. He bit into the candy thinking I would buy it four him (he was 3), I bought it but gave the receipt to the cashier and the candy bar asked to throw it away. She looked surprised and my son waited to cry till we got in the car but he never tried that trick again.
my oldest son did the same thing when he was about 4 when we went to a convenience store. When we got to the car I noticed he had pack of gum. marched him right back made him surrender to cashier. Cashier picked up on what I was trying to teach him and scolded him for stealing . No problems after that
if you think this behavior is cute, including the lie, you're in for a very rough time in about 10 years. I'm not joking.
This kid has an inside pocket 😂🤣 good age to put an end to his new bad habit 😂🤣😂🤣
I did that to my youngest while took a Styrofoam ball from the craft store but ousted of taking her back to the store i found a couple chips eating out. I made her go in front of them and tell her what she did. They were so kind to tell her how wrong stealing was and that she didn't want to go to jail over a Styrofoam ball. She cried all the way home!!!
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 Don’t be mad at that baby
stealing is wrong!
lol a pair of earrings got stuck to my pants when I left the store and i kept them 🤣🤣
when I was 7 I had stolen some candy and my family helped me eat it and we went and took more! only kidding I'm not a thief but a story teller yes!
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Adorable! 🥰

OMG
welln he seems to know that stealing us wrong...he was tempted like we've all been...
my granddaughter when she's about four or five she stole a greeting card when we asked her why she did it she said the devil made her do it
kids already heading down the wrong path he'll be a serial killer before you know it!!!
