that's cute but these days I load the kids and groceries like someone is chasing me. we can do that cute stuff at the house after I close the garage lol
my three year old is my sidekick. while 15, 12 and 5 are at school, we do everything together. they have all had at least 2 years with just momma during the day. it's my most favorite time to teach them, and learn some things myself.

I wish I could turn back time… I miss my children so much. As babies they always wanted to help me and of course I let them because it’s a learning experience for them too. They’d run out (my grandbabies too) and can I help Mom & (Nonna)?? I’d always give them a bag light or medium weight and they brought it inside and ran right back out to get another bag. Sometimes I gave him one that was a little heavy and it was so funny how they struggled to carry the bag but they would never give up. They wanted to bring those bags in to help me!! I miss those days so much.

My Great Grandchildren gives me energy and keeps me going. When they see me getting tired they tells me to sit down and rest for awhile. I had a kidney transplant, I get tired easy because I have a long recovery ahead. My Grandchildren are 4, 6 and 12. Much Love to All❤️

I love that the parents are teaching him how to be a part of the family by being helpful! Kudos to you for the patience you are showing him. This is an excellent example of parenting!!!!
Kid are always willing to help, especially if it's their idea. They don't see it as a chore when they are included. They may not want to pick up their toys but ask them if they would like to help they may just volunteer because you asked for help. No one likes orders, especially kids.
Great lesson in being part of a team! Taking care of business. Getting the job done. I started by teaching my daughter how to fold wash clothes! And she is a paraplegic now and cleans her apt and cooks and holds down a full time job. Little lessons grow.

Helping does make your child more capable of developing certain skills! But the way some people drive through the parking lots at grocery stores would make me leary to do this there at home would be a better place for this activity with unpacking!🥰💕💕💕💕💕
