I had twin 454s in my 32 ft Wellcraft Nova spider and my top speed was 84 mph. there is no way he is making it from Miami to Key West in under an hour because is 165.6 MI ride.

Traveling like that even on water can be dangerous for your health. With speeds like that you can loose control. Anything and I do mean anything comes in his path he won't have to to avoid hitting it in time. Dodging anything at speeds like that can cause the boat to flip and can flip on them. Water feels like asphalt when your behind hits it. Another reason you dint want to be sea food or shark bait. God forbid that it happened who i would save whi. Excellent swimmer or not. Be more cautious and protective of the one body that you have.
