That's why it's not good to stand at a cliffs edge, at any time. It is a cliff, because it once wasn't, but then it collapsed, without any real warning, and became a cliff.
5 of us were trout fishing on the White River then from more than a hundred yards up the rocks came some baseball to softball size rocks. it could have killed us. we me and another went up the adjacent and their next throws was welcomed with 32 of .45 and the same in .40. not to hurt anyone just to scare the rock throwing morons away.
