I used to laugh at old timers saying gas was 10 cent a gallon in my day. Now I catch myself saying gas was 99 cent a gallon back in my day.
I've been saying it...I lived in the best decades. Anyone born after 911 has no idea how great life was without the internet.......
I was so fortunate to have lived my teens and early 20s in the 1964-1974 era. We laughed, we loved, we respected our neighbors, we were free from every day violent assaults, mass/school shootings or massive deaths from drug overdoses. We had the luxury of swimming in rivers and lakes now polluted and actually drinking clean water from streams!!! Yes, we fought for the civil rights for people of color & women, we fought for peace in a political war where our friends, brothers & sons were being killed on a daily basis. And β¦ the music was awesome & affordable. A ticket to Fillmore West was SIX DOLLARS. College tuition ranged from $350 dollars per YEAR to $1,400 per year for private universities. And NOW? I am feeling so sad for the world I am leaving my grandchildren. π’
I don't care what anyone says, we had the very best times from the sixties to 2000, What happened to usπ Did you know that some of really most best Salsa dancers in the 50s were Jewish? It was a time full of magic β¨
I love how the young lady with the striped fop didnβt even acknowledge how the other lady pushed her aside and tried to get all the attention, but failed .. that shows class how she didnβt even get bothered by her rudeness .. now a days there wouldβve been a major fight by those two..lol
was that a real dance? π€
I've seen this a million times. I've ways wondered who she is or was!! Girl was frkn awesome!!
Fancy foot stepping..
back when woman were women
it's the fake cigarette for me!π€£π€£π€£
It was a blessing to grow up in those times. Perhaps the best times America will ever have. I donβt even recognize this country anymore. It has changed exponentially ..... but not for the better.
am I the only one who saw Winona Ryder dancing with Travolta at Jackrabbit Slim's in Pulp Fiction??
She is an incredible dancer!
I love the old school dancing n music

I remember when I'd give friends a ride to Red Rocks I always charged a dollar. the year was 1984 I drove a 69 bug, joints were two dollars, three for five, Van Hale just released you guessed it the album 1984. I was in the tenth grade.π²π²
somebody got some Michael Jackson in their feetπππππππ
are there still school dances? or is that racist also? used to be fun,
Two of us put gas in the car, went to a movie and ate McDonald's hamburgers, all for a total of $5.00. That was a big night out.
Who invented that crap
Don't mean a thing if it ain't got the swing
What was the name of that song, please?
I got gas one for 69 cents in the late 70βs !
Uma Thurman had nothing on these girls...
she was cutting up and smooth with it
hope she's OK, my legs hurt.
I am 66 years old and do not remember ever seeing this dance! and I had older sisters! what is this dance called? and what years are we thinking?
Dang. This girl can dance!
Dang they could boogie, clean fun
I'm still an 80's baby and proud of it. Rap has poisoned this nation and everything that comes with it. Now everyone is violent, with dirty mouths, and road rage is killing people every day by the hundreds. People want to be gangster mentalities and take over streets and stores for pleasure. Road takeovers and mass killings with schools and churches are being bombarded with violence. The government has changed forever with corruption and lies. Hollywood is satanic and full of treachery. Children are missing everywhere, and human trafficking is tearing this nation apart. The borders are being invaded, and the list goes on and on.
The old days were the most amazing times of all. I would not have traded my childhood for all the money in the world. We played and had fun OUTSIDE! π I miss it. God bless everyone β£οΈππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌβ£οΈ
oh I do wish I was able to lolπ₯Ί
she doing it
See, all these moves were done long before Micheal Jackson, yes the 1960/1970 was the best, safest and fun time. People respected each other. Kids played outside until dusk. And everyone felt SAFE. But than again most families attending church back then. Maybe we need to wake up.
That's what happens when you have a high body count... Your legsπ¦΅go crazy π€ͺ
so this is where the scene from pulp fiction came from. same music same moves.
And they say white people can't dance.
wow she killed it π π

Gas wars .22 a gallon
πππ
early 1970s gas wars were happening in my hometown in Iowa, gas was 25 cents ,full service . Check, air ,oil ,transfluid and wash your windows . if you were a dedicated customer you had a charge account. you could pay weekly . Ahh the good old days
I remember when gas was 29.9 cents a gallon. The 60's and 70's were the greatest of all times !!!! Today's kids today don't know what they missed. Not their fault just born in a different time line.
Awesome
