My mom, who was a former ballroom dance teacher, saw Dirty Dancing right after it came out. She loved it and kept trying to get me to see it. For some reason, I didn’t want to. But, my mom, who was my best friend after all, won and we went together. OMG I loved that movie so very much!! Still one of the top ten best dance movies imo. Male dancers/ballet dancers have some of the most beautiful, sculpted and athletic bodies! Patrick had it all …talent, looks and a long, happy marriage with his wife, but was taken way too soon! His movies will live on forever!!
