I don’t think that’s lighting.
That happened here in Texas last spring. we have a lot of storms here and I photograph lightning all the time and my husband was like it looks like a flash bulb camera is flashing in the sky it's blue and it doesn't look like lightning. I tried so hard to film it but it was so bright and blue that it just never came out I got no pictures just bright bright flashes weird huh. I've lived here 60 years and never seen that
