guarantee I've knitted more than a lot of "purists" and that's just plain cool... functionally it's probably crap, and the vast majority of shit I've knitted is functional... bags, screens for various things (grill insert on my jeep, fireplace spark screen, scrubbers, etc) and this stuff can't be those sorts of things, but shit man, most people don't make maille for actual use, they make it for show, and this is good for that. if you put that sheet over your head, just by itself, how "grabby" does it get with your hair? because most "purist" maille will give you hell if you do that because of the cut gaps, and that doesn't have any...
None - all "purists" produce something far superior to this, even the slagged out ones.
