it be easy to cover other side with plastic cover than to have dude running around like this but still a good way to paint without having to spend more money on covers

What’s the point of the person behind the fence?
We put up a 300’ x 6’ high cedar fence with cement footings. I sprayed both sides of the new fence with a solid colored cedar color as my wife followed with a brush getting all tight spots and runs. 3 years later, boards and slats were cracking badly while twisting as well looking like the fence was 25 years old. I would never ever use wood outdoors again.

you could just hang a sheet or tarp over the fence and not have some fool walking around holding a board
miss, you might want to hire a professional. you didnt seal not one board and it is still going to rot with all those places you missed. but good effort.
