Used to love videos like this while I worked my 12-8am steel mill job…. Believe it or not, 3 months after I quit the mill I was doing HVAC and saw a position open for an R&D Chemist. I have no background with chemicals or let alone being in an office, no education except high school and I actually got a fucking offer. I’m not doing this, more creating products and testing them but still, working with chemicals and seeing how they react is cool. And while yes it can feel like school sometimes, the environment is sick, the job is awesome and fun as hell and 6-2pm is also perfect, for me at least. If you like stuff like this, just try man. Worst they say is no, but if you get lucky like I did without a diploma…. I’ll never be a laborer again 😂
