There are so many different mixes now a days in the trade,When I was an apprentice cement Mason out of Seattle local #528,The journey man who I was working with taught me to use anti hydro in my Dry pack mix,It helped a whole lot with upside down patches and just patches in general that you needed to get hot quickly.Vincent Romano was the journey man’s name,A very cool and knowledgeable cement finisher,Vincent if you see this Remember me “The apprentice”! 1985 I think it was.Good money,Hard work,Our BA was mobster,He held our vacation fund hostage,And if you needed some dough,Uou had to go downtown to the hall,And ask through a barred window for some of your money! He the business agent was indicted federally on some serious charges at that time,And gradually our union evolved into a much kinder place,I helped build some of the more notable concrete buildings and structures in Seattle,And the Pacific Northwest,I was a proud young dude all of 21 yo,And have many memories of those days.T
Quite the repair! Cost was probably around $1000-1500!
