2500 in the bank I wish

been ready my guy

SUPER READY

So many people have the nice house in a high end zip code with the luxury car, but have thousands in credit card debt, Little no money in the bank and effectively no retirement. I can say with confidence, if you make $300k/year you are paying almost 1/5 of that in federal and state taxes… after deductions. Then you have FICA and healthcare premiums to pay. When it’s all said and done 1/3 of your income is gone… so to save/invest 20% in retirement and non-retirement funds and have money in savings leaves you with about 47%… there is no money for luxury homes or cars… but in retirement I’ll have millions and millions.. and I can retire early too… then collect social security at 62… while everyone else will be screaming they can’t afford milk and eggs on social security and have to sell their luxury home and car and move into a small condo!
