WTF did you give her the credit card for.. kinda your own fault
200$ for 4 days at 3 meals per day is 16.60 per meal. You can’t even eat at fast food for that. Even at a cheaper restaurant you are going to spend 25-30$ for a meal. 50$ per day is not going to buy food , snacks or incidentals, let alone any souvenirs, or emergency money if needed. Just saying.
Holy crap 😂🤣 This is hilarious. Bless us all with this generation.
My daughter now 21 went to Nashville when 16 for a 3 day BETA trip. She was given 200 cash and had my card if needed. Not only was she money smart and found reasonable places to eat and her grp of friends bought pizza and shared costs. She even bought a cpl small gifts and didn’t use my card and brought back change!!! Raise them to respect money and problem solved! And now her and her husband at 21 are in process of buying first home because they work hard and respect money.
My daughter at 16 was a handful I loved her but didn’t like her She killed herself at 27 and I wish I could pay for her food…🙏🏼
200 isn't much really especially if your at a destination with over priced food. Geez a taco bell lunch is almost 20 bucks.
because you have to pay for my food... I just shut off the card...
Who you think is to blame for this???? MOM/DAD WHY DID SHE HAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD…I don’t understand 🤔?
well lady blame yourself, you raised this monster!
should have stopped the credit card
turn credit card off...she will use cash VERY wisely 👍
Nowadays that's how it goes ! I would.have given her 400. 100 for food, the rest for.her to spend !
With teenagers, you need to be exact in the words you use. "No credit card use. You have 200 cash to use this weekend. Make it last. You know what? give me the credit card. I don't trust that you won't use it"
Maybe you shouldn't have let her have the card
Put card on hold. If you don't she won. I don't play that. Called parenting not friendship.
My daughter had my credit card for emergency’s during college - I once got a huge bill from a Chinese food. I said what’s going on??? She said don’t worry mom they all paid me cash! 😳 DHE NO LONGER HADA CREDIT CARD FOR EMERGANCY !
Just cut the card off
selfish entitled brat you got there.
i guess she did not get your memo about entitlement? clearly she needs a dosevof reality
Well excuse me. But you lost your minds when you gave your 16 yo access to your credit card.🤔
don't understand they all feel entitled we owe them ,meantime back at my ranch I had to earn my way do a chore if u wanted to go somewhere or need funds idk were we went wrong I'm a baby boomer my generation was appreciative
okay full story she gave her daughter 200 for 4 days in Nashville TN. Just on food alone that's gone in 2 days. plus buying stuff yeah not enough.
Why would you in good conscience give a teenager a credit card…. Parents you’re not doing your kids any favors…
My 16 year old what have never gone away for the weekend with friends
Why does she have a credit card? She must have done this before.?
Wait she used yo credit card I couldn't even breathe over my mom's purse....lmaoo😂😂😂😂
no your teenager lost her mind. that your fault you gave her your capital one card.
she's a spoiled brat. just turn off the card, then only give her 100.00 next time
put a freeze on the credit card
lady, you are the one who lost their mind by giving a teenager your credit card
you've lost your mind for giving her access to your credit card on top of $200
Sounds funny coming from the person who gave a teenager a credit card.
I totally agree with you! She needs to get a job. Spend her own money
they way my Twitter fingers woulda been dialing Capital One....lol..
lock the card
There is no way you need $100 a day but I would say $200 is on the low end. $200-$400 is about right I mean if you want her to have fun buy souvenirs and go to places I mean things aren’t cheap anymore.. $200 is literally nothing anymore you’re saying $200 is $1000 or something lmao
That’s our 22 year old sons thinking and he is a linemen that lives at home 🤔
200 is nothing in vegas though. sns
stop the card.
No parents have lost their mind .A friend of mine gave her daughter her credit card and 2 weeks later she went to see her dad in a different state came back with 16 thousand dollars on the card . Her claim dad is pretty poor & she thought she had to take care of him ,needless to say mom paid most even though she lives in an low Sr.housing complex & daughter is a professional. I would never give my card to anybody.
you raised her
your fault......why does she have to have your credit card no??
Easy fix. Turn off the card temporarily.
Generalizing about all teenagers tells me one reason she thinks that way is because of how she was taught.
I would've canceled that card right then & there. Kids today have this sense of entitlement. I don't know where they got it but it's mind blowing!
Evidently you didn’t explain yourselves about the money.200.00 for 4 days isn’t allow for food and especially if she like to buy herself something.
$200 is not a lot of money these days. $50 a day for food and fun??
You created situation by giving her a credit card. Own it...
please stop blaming the kids. You are the one that is raising them. its your fault.
simple fix. cancel card, DUH
Well you obviously gave her the credit card number, information. Don’t play dumb…
200 for 4 days is nothing.
So block the card. And she works off the charges. Simple.
