Are you kidding me? They hate us because of our interference in their internal politics. The US put Saddam Hussein and the Shah of Iran in power. Both men brutalized their people. The US was well aware of their savagetry but looked the other way for the sake of cheap oil. So the US is most definitely culpable in this savagetry.
