I was a big brother to 3, sometimes four black teenagers from blue Hill Avenue one of the worst areas in Dorchester specially for a White man, 30 years old, driving on a Friday night to go pick them up sometime sidetracked them up on a Thursday in the summer when they didn’t have school I brought them down to my house in Duxbury small, pond they used to really enjoy it, my friend on the Mexican restaurant and we used to get food there and take it to Duxbury beach where you could drive out on the beach if you had four-wheel-drive one of I them became a marine, and I never really heard about the others, have them my friend Close to his restaurant and moved to Boston but I would like to think That I made a difference in their life, especially the one that join the military his 💯😊

His “Uncle “, until she found a decent man and got married. No, there was nothing going on between us. Having a male role model, that is positive, as well as a disciplined and and structured home environment, make the world of a difference! You can live dirt, poor, in a not good neighborhood and still be an upstanding citizen, with a desire to move up and out of that environment. Or, better yet, improve the environment! The household environment makes the world of a difference, and his most positively impactful. Regardless of any statistical information you wanna throw in there.
