Did anyone read what in the Big Beautiful Bill no tax on tips and overtime is a Big Beautiful Lie. They said one thing and did another. It's a deduction on your taxes that expires in 2028. The deductions is a percentage of your AGI to a limit once you reach that limit you are in a higher tax bracket at which point you are paying more taxes not less. It's capped at $25k the deduction phase-outs the more you earn. A worker will still owe federal payroll taxes. People who make $15k to $31k will not get this deduction. No one would ever get the $25k in deductions. This anyone a government scam.
And this is the budget that passed and is the one that the Republicans want to use to keep the government running until November while they can look at it and see if there are any changes needed. Dems would rather a shutdown because it doesn’t contain money for the illegal immigrants

And honestly, WITH MOST BUSINESSES CUTTING BACK ON THE NUMBER OF HOURS PEOPLE CAN WORK, WHO ACTUALLY BENEFITS FROM OVERTIME?? Remember, you have to work MORE THAN 40 HOURS in a FIVE DAY PERIOD to get OVERTIME... So really, WHAT DID THEY ACCOMPLISH??
