I remember that morning, Lyft driving in Malibu and I watched the helicopter smack into the hills and erupt into flames. I immediately called 911 and reported it...at the time I had no idea who it was. Later in the day while driving another customer it was broadcasted over Real 92.3, which is a hip hop station in LA. I had to pull over and just take a minute and cry. It was 6 days after my birthday...January 26th, 2020...a date as a LA native, I will never forget!
