That must be what the use in my DEPENDS brand "oops I crapped my pants" Adult diapers! 🤔
I wonder if it could be used during flooding to help protect homes? Maybe put THAT in large, expandable bags instead of smaller sandbags? It could expand much larger, making a more effective water barrier.
sodium polyacrylate is what it is and is used also as an industrial absorbent..... but the cleanup of the gel afterwords could be a mess.
Oh wow 🤯
I bought this off Amazon. I used it I'm my grandsons kick boxing/punching bag that sits on the floor to weight it down. it works. it says to turn it back into water you add salt . so I did a test cup to make sure it got solid then added salt to see what happened. it went back to liquid. I'm very pleased with it. 4 years no leaks. it doesn't mold either. you can use it in basketball goals as well. to move them around after you add this you can use a Dolly. when you want to empty it just pour salt in and drain it. it doesn't freeze either. it's a must have. not expensive at all.
its what they put in sanitary pads and baby diapers also.
Do not drink it!
why can't they use this around homes right before flooding? even after flooding?
is there an issue if the liquid has spilled fuel in it?
I played with that as a lab tech. I had forgotten the name. sodium polyacrylate!
wow
how deadly is this to the environment?!?!
Or you can siphon pump the water out. Instead of using some sketchy powder
But can you get sodium acrelate at a store
This guy doesn’t know anything about chemistry
why don't they make stuff like this for floods to save neighborhoods 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
I use this in my camp toilet.
seems like an effective way to shore up while making an island
if your taking a commode up just pour one v pack in it keeps water in it so you can b take it out without leaking everywhere
I think I found Jesus, this guy is walking on water! 🤔
probably wouldn't have needed it if someone didn't forget to cut the scupper in the first place!
very cool
That is a terrific idea, Dave Hudgins.👍
Interesting 🤔
🥰
nobody in usa using that on construction sites
No idea they had anything like that that’s really cool,
how many diapers were harmed?
Umm that’s not a pipe. Huge fail
apparently narrator doesn't know the difference between a roof and a pipe 🤪😵💫
I bet he didn't pay attention in chemistry class. I bet his boss taught him how to use this stuff.
Awesome President Donald J Trump.
the stuff that is in diapers
that stuff is extremely slimy
What Pipe ???
what does it do to the water..
Same stuff plumber use changing out toilet.. pour in - gels.. carry old through house without dumping/ drainage..
lol 😆😆😆 no he didn't, he's a roofer and went to the supply house and bought it. been around for decades.
if i get that.. then do i have to whip it anymore...or just instant rock😳
😂😂😂😂 so impressed its almost like they sell water gel at home depot
How much does that cost? Do you buy it by the kilo or do you buy it by the pound?
or found the right salesmen to tell him about this product. 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
or listened to his boss
If a pipe is leaking, isn’t it on its way to being empty? 😂
It's hard to clean up that gel.
he didn't pay attention! He bought that shit!😆
thats whats in diapers😁
Chemistry was not my strongest suit! 😰😭
What about floods like 4 foot wall around your house
That is sodium polyacrylate, a superabsorbent polymer that turns liquid into a gel, along with other materials like cotton or wood pulp, and creates a waterproof plastic layer.
