Galumpkis are delicious 😋
When I was a small child my mother used to to make these always hated them made me hate cabbage 🤢 no child like this stuff and makes it hard to like now when your older
I've never had a better cabbage roll that my elderly Polish neighbor made. OMG it was incredible. The filling kept it's shape even when cabbage was off. I wish I got her recipe. Although I couldn't bring myself to eat the hog's head cheese she made out of a hog my husband shot. 🤔😆
I would cook the rice 1st. These are actually really good as a vegetarian dish as well! I have made several variations of cabbage rolls. All were really good, even without the marinara sauce. ✝️💞🙌💪🏽💚🦁💙✝️💞🙌💪🏽
We always call them pigs in the blanket… northeast Pennsylvania…USA
I find it funny youngsters think they have discovered something new that us Boomers have cooked for decades that we learned from our Grandparents!
My mother used to make cabbage rolls they were delicious 😋
HONESTLY, I WOULD DEFINITELY BE SEASONING THE GROUND BEEF VERY WELL CAUSE IM BIG ON FLAVOR... IM GONNA USE SPAGHETTI SAUCE BUT SEASON IT AND LET IT COME 2 ROOM TEMP BEFORE I ADD IT TO THE BAKING PAN... SHREDDED CHEESE INSIDE AS WELL...YES IM GONNA PUT MS.KAYS SPIN ON IT!!! HAPPY COOKING 🧑🏾🍳🧑🏾🍳🧑🏾🍳
Pig in a blanket. 🤣
That's Considered a Poor Person Meal jews Italians Africans European Made this dish And it's still Hood as ever So he is not showing anything New But Thank You
I made this old recipe when I was ten yrs old 😋
Love me some ,stuffed cabbage .Mom's was so good .I'm just glad I can cook ,most of the food's she made .It's nothing like ,homemade. Thanks for the video 🥰👍😆
What the hell do you mean at what age? pretty sure you would only know something like that if you're an adult or you get taught by your mother
hell I learned how to make stuffed cabbage when I was like 12 years old or something
those are cabbage rolls my mom made those for us all the time when I was a kid
when I was young I used to eat the inside, not the cabbage. Now I eat it all
I wish I had some of that that looks real good
looks good to me.
age 60 cause I'm just learning it for the first time! why would you assume that everyone would have learned this shitty recipe I hate cabbage and my family a friends are better off that why. 👊😳
to much trouble
It's holupki
you dont have to cut the cabbage leaves. each leaf makes a stuff cabbage piece
It’s called stuffed cabbage I make it often with a side of homemade mashed potatoes.
recipe please
my whole childhood, my mom made them twice a month and I hated them. she also put rice in hers. 🥺
I learned the difference between cabbage and lettuce and that's NOT cabbage. 😅
Golabki. Gram taught us how to do it. Yugoslavia .
I'd put some cheese too.

I’m 78 years old and have been cooking at age ten. Never have I ever seen anything like this! My Mom used a Slovak recipe handed down from her Mom and filled a pressure cooker with cabbage rolls enough to feed a family of six . I’m interested in making this recipe for my elderly husband and my son who loves to eat! Thanks
been making these for a while. use a toothpick to keep em together you dont want them too soft coming out of the water before the oven
at what age did you Iearn that cooked cabbage is nasty
You don’t need to cook the rice ?
It’s called stuffed cabbage
My grandma made these!
l love Cabbage rolls
🤔🤔 THAT SOUNDS DELICIOUS AND I THINK THAT I WILL TRY OUT THIS RECIPE IN THE NEAR FUTURE REAL SOON 🤔🤔
Halushkis or cabbage rolls or pigs in a blanket is how we called this, but my mom never added all the vegetables in the meat. just meat, rice, salt, pepper, onions, and a small can of tomato paste. she would boil the whole cabbage head and roll about 100 of them and line them in rows in her big electric roaster to cook. but you have to put some sauerkraut on the bottom so they don't burn.
Our parents (I'm 67) made stuffed cabbage years ago, so you aren't showing us something new here.
That’s the worst stuffed cabbage I have ever seen
🥰
I’ve been eating lumpkins my whole life
🙏🌸🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
we called them Glunkies
looks good
We Ukrainians also eat this. Stuffed cabbage.
A lot of trouble
180 degrees? Nothing would cook all the way. Does he mean 180 Celsius?
