you know, when I see videos like this, I scroll thru the comments, hoping someone has an explanation

This is probably the most stupid video I've seen. The only thing that possibly makes sense of hanging paper plates out of your vents is that when the air or heat kicks on, you have good smelling stuff sprayed on them to freshen a room.
why !!
if you bend the plates a bit, you will redirect the cold air to go up instead of down. Everyone knows that cold air sinks down, while hot air floats up. This way you cool the room quicker. Now, as per the plates sticking out of the vents and not looking elegant --- if you listen to the video you will hear the key word "BEFORE," ie you should do this before the guests arrive!😆😆😆

My explanation would be that a person should put essential oil drops on the halves, or maybe laundry scent beads, turn the air on, and smell the good smells! I can't try it out, I have ceiling vents!
