I think changing oil is a lie I haven't of changed my oil in 6 years from 89k to 308k same filter burns a lil on startup but add a lil thats it HAVNT done a thing to my truck since I bought it other than pads not one thing else Silverado 2010 no ticks knocks runs perfect

does amsoil got little time release capsules in it that release little sponges to collect up the coolant, humidity, carbon, and fuel from blowby gasses? you don't change oil to get good stuff in, you change oil to get bad stuff out. magnets actually should do that tbh, but the filter element does the same shit anyway... most of what you're trying to do by changing your oil is getting blowby out though.

My wife’s Jaguar recommended 16,000 miles in between oil changes. They said it would avoid the warranty if I change the oil in between. Now that the car is out of warranty I do it every 3–4000 miles.

well I'll tell you what. I go 12,000 miles between changes. I had a 2002 e-350 and took it to 501,000 miles and sold it. original engine. Engine oil matters. use Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer and your engine will last forever, or at least longer than the body will.
