In Colorado, we call it worm grunting. My brother had a warm farm. We don't know why it works, but we think it mimics the sounds of moles, worm predators. The soil is loosened just to make it easier for the worms to surface. You aren't going to get a thousand worms in a minute, but it works if you run out of bait and ain't ready to come in... so does digging. 🤔

looks like he put worms down then covered in dirt, you can see the difference in color of soil , than to have a worm container that looks like it just got used it may work but ill just keep getting em the old fashion way
