it's called poached eggs
I saw a video like this a few months ago and I started doing this and it's perfect results. you add the water after the eggs are at least halfway cooked and it only takes like 30 seconds after the water is added and you get perfect over easy and don't have to flip them and worry about breaking the yolks
JHC, ever heard of Over Easy? No water needed
For those who can’t flip and hit pan again. 👀
those are called basted eggs, you can ask for them at most restaurants
Called a basted egg in the restaurant business
Been poaching eggs like this for 65 yrs.
Great trick
You don't even need the water
How long have we been cooking eggs and we only figured it out now no wonder we can't evolve .
that's what I'm talking about that looks good throw some toasted bread and some cheese had a pain now
All ya need is to cover it...and your egg yokes get hard
You don’t even have to add water as soon as you put the eggs in the pan put lid on it cooks both sides
this is the only way I will eat my eggs
I break the yolks after I put them in the pan I don't want that yellow runny stuff all over the plate
I’ve been doing this for years
People been poaching eggs gor years...slip the egg into boiling water, or add a little water after the egg is in the skillet.
and then cooks and cleans the whole house take care of the kids I'll be happy for sure I'll give all my check every week if it's 800 or 1,000 a week I'll give it to her so she can pay all the bills
🥰🥰🥰 if you have a wife like that for sure she's going to want the whole check for sure and that's good🥰🥰🥰
Thats ceramic
I’ve been doing that forever 😆
It's ceramic.
Been doing that for decades!
"over easy" My dad showed me this over 50 years ago.
That's been around for a long time
steamed eggs i pass
it only takes a few drops of water, I worked in a casino kitchen and that's to much water and put it in when you break the eggs
interesting
So it's poached eggs you have them on toast
sunny side up
That's nasty
basted egg
No thanks
over done
good job
🙄
They're called "poached eggs". I learned how to make these in junior high 56 years ago! Easy as simmering water!
Been doing that for year's with no water
I did and it stuck to the non stick pan
these kind of eggs are called basted adding a little water and putting a lid what kind of like make a film over the top and yes if you throw bacon grease in there and splatter all of the place
so basically you fry the eggs first and then you poached them for 30 to 40 seconds that's why they won't run because they're partially fried and partially poached
this is a another normal way to cook eggs and it's called basted. it's not something new just discovered they just cook the top of the eggs using steam
add little globs of butter around the eggs then add water and cover, dont flip, this is a great way to make Sunnyside ups. the butter cooks the bottom and gets crispy with a steamed and fluffy top. this is my favorite way to make an egg
step away from the stove S L O W L Y, turn the fire off, take a nap, then watch a cooking show on the beginners guide to cooking.
Anybody that knows how to cook knows that this is a smart way to make eggs 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
been doing this for years. this is how restaurants do it
