I take my nightstand fan completely apart once a month and clean it properly.... no it's ands or butt's about it.

hell we just take our fan and wash it off with a hose motor and all it don't matter as long as the motor is dry it isn't going to sort out or nothing bad so you just leave it outside for about 4 hours let it heat up to about 90° outside if it's nice and hot and let it dry all day long then plug it in that night it'll be fine I've done it lots of times this way the motor is a sealed motor but you have to make sure all the water is out of it or else you'll shorten the damn thing out real quick that's why you go and let it dry outside all day if you have to get an airgun and blow it out blow the water excess water out then let it sit out there it has to drive for at least 4 hours out in the sun for it to get hot enough for it to dry all the way throughout inside

Just put your fan in the shower take your hand out shower head spray it out real good just don’t blast the motor. They can get wet but not blasted. Set the fan outside for two days,like brand new. You’ll never take van apart to clean it again.
