and after a few years the vinyl pulls away from the wall. looks like shit hint before painting remove the baseboards then put down the vinyl Most installers won't remove the baseboards because they could either damage them or the paint job.

I'll tell you how to do it. push the vinyl up in the corner as close as you can then grab the corner with thump and cut out wher your thumb is . that will give you the corner cut then push it back down and cut the sides left. problem solved in seconds
