not a single seam or crack was covered. all it does is mask the surface temperature of the glass. It won't make a difference in keeping the room warm or keeping cold out

Plain water works, too. Place the bubbly side against the window. Then flat side to the room. I use the 1/2” bigger bubbles. When we had a really deep cold hit our area, I spritzed the flat side with water and added a lot more insulation to the window. … Come Spring just peel off. You’ll find dust has sneaked in. Window should be washed. I saved my bubble pieces from year to year. Just rinse off to clean the bubbly side off. When dry, roll up and place in a plastic bag for next year’s usage.

wouldn't it be obvious to put the bubble part inside and the flat part to the glass where it sticks to the windows
