We did this in the 1960s. Nothing new. We didn't use Dad's Welding Shop Tools. 😆😆😆 We could afford Slotted Spoons. And one of those fancy indoor gas stoves.
My grandmother used to make them for us and then put them in a brown bag and shake the sugar in them. she'd make a dozen of them every morning for me to take the school and then I'd sell him

That looks pretty neat and you could use that method when camping to deep fry small fish or chicken for nuggets or anything small. Just don’t leave it alone or let it spill. He’s showing you that you can use other things on hand for cooking if you don’t have utensils and pots with you. People comment “ewww a coffee can” but so what, it worked. It’s not gonna kill you, lol. We breathe in stuff every day, and eat things made elsewhere and don’t know how it’s made, or what they cooked it in, or even what’s really in it, or if it’s even real or genetically modified 😳 LOL 🤔!!
