Most people use ricotta cheese, I was raised using cottage cheese with an egg in my lasagna and everyone who has ever tried it absolutely loves it.

Cream cheese does not belong in lasagna. Ricotta cheese, mozzarella, and Romano are the cheeses you use 👍
