Again, people are not understanding the difference between gender and sex. There are two biological sexes, male and female, determined by physical body parts. Gender may differ because it is how someone views themselves. This means we can have a variety of genders. How someone feels is a purely individual thing. Just because we may not understand why or how this happens is irrelevant. Society has simply not kept pace with how to accommodate all the differences. Someday, when people aren't so judgmental and can understand these ideas, we'll figure out how to accept everyone for who they are. Btw, this is not a liberal or conservative thing. It's a humanity, scientific thing.
