When I was in the 7th grade I had a friend who had parents that were very old school pentecostal and one day in gym class we were taking our showers and she started and started screaming because she thought she was dying because her mother never spoke or taught her about it! The other girls were laughing at her, I’ve never felt so bad for my friend as I did that day!! I’ll forget standing in the shower with her trying to calm her down!! 😢😢 I’ve didn’t ever meet her parents because if I did I would had said something to them!😡😡
I’m so glad my period days are over
I’m one of the lucky ones that had a mother who explained what was going to happen before I started my period. It was the 1950’s and many of my friends had no idea what was happening and thought they were dying.
My mom died when I was 12, and I was never taught such things. When I started, I was scared to death, and my cousin, who was a male( 18), came into the restroom at school and explained it, and the birds and bees to me.
Menopause has it down sides as well.Dryness everywhere, fatigue, weight gain ,Hot flashes and etc…
I just asked women to be sensitive to these young women just starting their menstrual cycle I'm in my sixties and I remember it like it was yesterday I thought I was fucking dying thank God I had a very understanding grandmother who taught me what to do and how to take care of myself thank you Granny
Praise God them days are over!!!!
so glad mine stopped 14 yrs ago I'll be 60 in a few weeks oh happy days
What movie is this?
Same experience, but no one to fully explain it. I just got handed a pad, and told to change at 10.

I changed my mind she's not that bad of a mother
