just about every civilization in history has had slavery at some point in their development, in some fashion. America is just one of the youngest. Throughout all of the known world, slavery has been a problem. Eurasia, Oceania (once Europeans arrived), the Americas (once Europeans arrived), wait is there a pattern there? a common denominator!?
