my family also were slaves and were beaten to death my family were taken from their family and lands. my family became free and made them selves land owners and farmers my great grandfather taught my grandfather who taught my father who taught me and now I'm teaching my kids and grand kids to work hard and stop using our past as an excuse.
so we want to damage our lower grade school children both black and white with information. this would be an elective class in high school and I'm sure it would be popular but No One from our pst several generations have witnessed these dour acts. I will not apologize for something neither I nor my family have never committed. we all came to the states after the Civil War. so push your story somewhere else and also tell the world of the Barbary pirates who boarded American trade ships off of Africa and sold the crews into slavery and also about the Irish immigrants who worked in indentured servitude. tell it all, not just your piece!

it's common sense that what happened was wrong.. but to think that something that went on 150 years ago that you have something owed to you by people that had no hand in any of it is just ignorance at its best. why does it sound like you want oppression to continue.. why would you want to continue teaching the hate that happened? The Irish were slaves. The Chinese were slaves I have yet to see another race cry about something that did not happen to them as a person... im native American, and I could give a shit less about what happened. with all due respect... slavery was not solely a melanated race thing... every race has had their people enslaved, with brutal, and unimaginable things done to them as well... slavery never was isolated to just people of color. That's just the only one we really hear about. They need us divided and fighting with each other so they can stay in power, and we will never become a real threat 🤷🤷🤷.

The government never wanted us to learn about the atrocities that happened to our ancestors, we were saturated with what happened to nonmelinated people's ancestors. For example the Holocaust was devastatingly horrendous and life changing for those people that are connected to it. How do we know this, because it was photographed and recorded. Now take that and apply just those 2 components to recording slavery. Just look at the civil rights movement. It wasn't pleasant to watch real history. It's called history for a reason because it's His-story, i.e. non-melanated, that was taught in schools and it has been slowly or almost completely white washed. Ask yourself if we all knew what the hell happened. It's a damn good chance the U.S. would be united as a people. The only thing united in this country is the ground.

I'm not a racist person by no means and like other people before me have said in this comment section why does someone like this man want to continue to preach hate want to continue to push the issue when almost every person white person alive today had nothing to do nothing nothing nothing to do with slavery and 9 out of 10 white people would not let it happen again. but yet someone like this gentleman continues to preach hate and continue to and though he may be educational he still stirs up trouble from younger people teenagers that don't realize that slavery was a long time ago and that today society would not participate nor have it.
