Those 8 people are the reason wages are so low and the minimum wage has been the same since 2009. They literally own the government. Minimum wage isn't supposed to be so a kid in highschool has some extra cash. Minimum wage was enacted to be a living wage. When minimum wage was created, FDR said "no business which depends for existence on paying less than living wages to its workers has any right to continue in this country." These 8 men are literally the reason our government is no longer "for the people".
