Any time a NG soldier is deployed they are instantly considered Active Duty and receive the exact same pay and benefits as any other soldier. I don't know what you're talking about. I worked with veterans for years and help them get their benefits once they left service or were injured.

fun fact: NG troops that go on deployment sometimes only get to stay for a certain amount of time so they aren't eligible for certain benefits like the VA home loan. something as simple as a delayed fly on the very last day can make a difference. if you catch my drift.

Military personnel don't book their own hotel rooms or receive stipends. They receive the same active duty pay as every other active duty Military personnel. They may receive extra endangerment pay depending on where they're deployed or stationed. The hotel or housing accommodations are set up for them by their admin or superiors. Stop spreading lies. it's not trump that does this. it's the state from where the guard is coming from. we had guys go on advon for a week, two weeks of annual training, and two weeks of trail party. the state broke it up between three different sets of orders so they would not have to pay full BAH to the soldier.
