No you are not making it up!! I experienced the reaction. Also from lisinopril they need to take it off the market!! I made it just in time had I not got had I not got to the hospital in time I wouldβve had to get a trach cause it was going to my throat my tongue!!
This is why I take no prescription drugsβ¦. Doctors love to write prescriptions. First thing comes out my mouth donβt waste your time cause I take no prescription drugsβ¦ Only herbs!!!

I experienced the same thing with accupril. Through my doctors research, she found that the drug is known to cause this reaction in African Americans. So it may be something with "pril" drugs. Google it.
I know exactly what youβre talking about because I too was taking Lisinopril for many many years and woke up one morning choking to death. My husband had woke me up before leaving for work earlier that morning and had given me my meds before going to work and I went back to sleep only to wake up a few hours later choking and could not say a word. I called him at work and just ssid gagagagajelp he immediately flew home rushed me to the ER of the nearest hospital. Thank God the Doctor working in ER that morning knew exactly what was happening and called for every nurse and Doctor to come over to look at my Ucla in the back of my throat because I was having a Anaphylaxis Reaction to my Lisinopril. I got to the ER In record breaking time and my life was spared. Thank The Lord ππΌ so what she is saying is very truthful. Believe her!

this is true l was in the same position Lisinopril, did me the same way also it had me coughing so bad my doctor took me off of it. I was told by my doctor that Lisinopril was for black peopleπ€.

When I was taking it; I developed a chronic cough I couldn't get rid of until I stopped taking it.
Lisinopril is very dangerous for your health. I've been off Lisinopril for over 20 years. My advice is to stop taking Lisinopril. Drink Beets Juice every day.

My daughter had me to tell my doctor that lisinopril was no good for Black people. The doctor got angry asked me was my daughter a doctor. I said no I said she researched the medication history. I took lisinopril blood pressure medication for two and a half years had no problems then all of a sudden one night I was over at my mom's and I started to go to sleep started feeling really tired luckily my mother was in the same room with me and she started hearing me wheezing and trying to breathe she turned around and looked and saw that my lips were swelling in my tongue was hanging out of my mouth swollen it started to swell my throat completely closed they rushed me to the hospital and they put me in I found out that evening that there was also a man and I see you fighting for his life from the same medication so it is possible for it to happen I know I've been there and it was no joke

So sorry you had this reaction to lisenapril. Seems every prescription out there has side effects and some are deadly. I'm sure your doctor can prescribe something else.
Yes allergic reactions, the same happened to me except it was the bottom lip.

lisinopril has snake venom in it , I used to take a few years back and it gave me a very bad cough , I did my research and found out it has snake venom pin it , the cough i had was because my lungs were trying to expel the venom buy no such luck , I no longer take it , do the research people..
Put some ice on your lips did you lay down cause they said not too for 4 hrs itβs not funny itβs really sad and I feel for you itβs going to go down and then it will be better hard but better
