Folic acid is a form of folate, a B vitamin, essential for numerous bodily functions. It plays a crucial role in: Cell Growth and Development: Folic acid is vital for the creation of new cells, including red blood cells, and the synthesis of DNA, which carries genetic information. Preventing Birth Defects: It's particularly important for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as adequate folic acid helps prevent neural tube defects (NTDs) like spina bifida. This structure forms the baby's brain and spine. Red Blood Cell Formation: Folic acid helps produce healthy red blood cells, which transport oxygen throughout the body. A deficiency can lead to folate deficiency anemia.
Folic acid is a naturally occurring chemical, google is free
Folic acid is naturally found in vegetables and fruits; it is not because they are sprayed with it. In its natural form, it is known as folate, which is present in these foods. It's an essential nutrient that plants produce and that humans need to consume through their diet. Some foods, like certain cereals and grains, might be fortified with synthetic folic acid, but the natural folate is found inherently in the foods I mentioned.
We were controlled by the UK that's what I say they are the greatest threat to America in the world. Thank God Trump step down and remove their control, Now he is calling the shots.
"you can't find it anywhere on the surface of the earth" does it come from space?
guy is a moron
this is not true by the way I looked it up it's all fake
Yes, folic acid can be found in grains, particularly in whole grains like brown rice and whole wheat bread. However, many grain products, such as breakfast cereals, pasta, rice, and flour, are often fortified with synthetic folic acid to enhance their nutritional value. This fortification helps to prevent folic acid deficiency in the population, as grains are a staple food for many people.
Just like ketchup, natural flavoring means frogs, snakes, bugs and whatever else goes into the process. The production company just pours the tomato crop in a vat. Enjoy!
everything 🟤. brown sugar bread rice
the fda doing what they do😂
Anything that says enriched is making you fat and poisoning you. He makes it sound so easy just to eat the alternative, but there are very very few cereals on the market that are not enriched along with all these other foods like breads and pastas. When you go to buy cooking flour, there’s only one or two brands that you can find that are not enriched and they cost three times as much money. Just remember what you’re paying for I just recently stopped buying regular milk and started purchasing the organic grass fed and I pay almost 4 times as much money. It’s about seven dollars for a half gallon of milk, but the taste is so different. You’ll never go back to buying regular.
I have medical issues and I went to Spain ate like shit thought I was going to have a bunch of medical issues didn’t have 1 issue. Felt so good. Wsnt to move there so bad
Yeah you buy it and buy the time you get home there is mold on it and instead of $2.00 it’s $11.99
the thing is here in America unless you grow it or make it yourself you can't trust it they will putt all the same stuff in the box and slap a organic sticker on it with a higher price and you will never know the difference because you didn't make it
Isn’t folic acid a vitamin though? One that is found naturally…I think it has something to do with other artificial ingredients but not folic acid. People literally take it was a dietary supplement lol
I can't even find flour that's not Enriched.......
crazy
Folic acid is not a naturally occurring chemical. It is the synthetic form of folate, a type of B vitamin (vitamin B9). Here's a breakdown: * Folate is the term for various forms of vitamin B9 that occur naturally in foods like leafy green vegetables, citrus fruits, and legumes. * Folic acid is a man-made form of folate that is used in supplements and added to fortified foods such as enriched breads, cereals, flours, pastas, and rice. While your body can use both folate and folic acid, they are chemically different, and folic acid is more stable and has a higher bioavailability than naturally occurring folate.
That is actually not true. The reason is when you make pasta at home there are literally only 3 ingredients. Flour, Eggs, Olive oil. maybe salt. Thats the difference. Store bought pasta is not good, and you jave to eat more of it.
And just figured this out I’ve known this since 2002 😂
