It wasn't so long ago you could camp anywhere you want on public lands, thanks to liberal conservationist you will be harassed and arrested for it. If you want to camp you have to do it where they tell you to and pay to do so.
Game wardens are sworn law enforcement officers who have more authority than other LEOs in most states.
some game wardens are state employed some are federal guess it had to do with it powers they can all arrest and ticket if you have warrant you go to jail .

Cops don’t need a search warrant when there is something illegal in plain sight and it was my understanding that game wardens have more rights to search than police officers so why are they seizing this guy’s tent without searching it?
I speak from experience as a law abiding outdoors man, I hate game wardens. They always assume the worst in everybody and have a shit attitude no matter what like it a job requirement. They should really try to change that.

If a warden has strong reason to believe property (vehicles, boats, firearms, coolers) was used to break wildlife laws, they can often seize it without a warrant. I know alot of you don't want to hear it but its true.

It seems that taking the tent, then getting a warrant gives unfair advantage to the Officers, as warrants have to be specific, and they now have prior knowledge, of what's inside the tent ! It would only be too funny, if it was oregano, used for his cooking ! I'm guessing a good Attorney could get it tossed ? I'm no lawyer, but I might, could maybe play one on TV ? 😋
