This is not priceless it's stupid. The police have a hard enough time as it is. Why make their job even harder when all they are trying to do is protect you? This is ridiculous.

What else should police expect? With many police departments helping ICE and their cohorts kidnap immigrants and American citizens as well, it's totally understandable that someone wants clear and present facts/information before full cooperation! This is a 💯 % result of the out of control actions of men who call themselves the law! With people being detained (aka: kidnapped) without representation, nor given opportunities to contact lawyers, or give someone notice as to why they've been detained and where they've been taken, demanding information prior to fully cooperating is one of a few ways people can try to protect themselves these days from out of control law officers.

Isn’t it required to provide license and proof of insurance prior to asking these types of questions? Also, as the officer explained, many of these questions are for the courtroom, not at a roadside stop.

this is completely ridiculous! this officer is well within his rights to arrest this person for resisting or obstructing the officer from doing his job. All of his questions to the officer were definitely things that would be answered either on the citation or in court. the officer was extremely patient despite the fact that he was correct in how he went about doing his job. just ARREST this guy!
if he woulda acted like someone who is not irritating them chances are he would have drove away with just a speeding ticket instead of a reckless driving charge. but that, whatever that was, made the cops decision much easier. and he is going to make a point to show up to court don't you worry.

This is a funny. No I’m not against police. I have two in my immediate family. At least the officer going along with it and now he knows how it feels to be question where are you going? Where are you coming from? My mom died when I was 17 my dad a few years later . . We are adults & don’t need to tell them where I’m going or where I’ve been , License ,registration & insurance is all they need for a traffic stop.
