My friend married a man that was here illegally when they got married she helped him go through the process. His parents brought him and his brother here illegally when they were kids. He is now a citizen but, because his parents brought him here illegally it took them years and over 10,000.00 for him to become a citizen. His brother and parents are still not legal and they've been here over 20 years.

this is sad and unfortunate but that's not to say that you can't get citizenship. Trump has stated that if you voluntarily turn yourself in to be deported then once back in Mexico or wherever you can immediately apply for a visa for re-entry and be here the proper way. once here you apply for citizenship. in 2010 I helped one of my Mexican friends do this exact process and he was scared and I know it's scary. but if you're not a criminal please don't become one by getting forcibly removed from the country. you are welcome here. but you have to do it through the correct process. also also if you talk to a social worker or someone inside of the federal government to get the information before the actual deportation but after turning yourself in you can reduce the time that you would need to be away for dramatically.
All that time raising their kids, could have applied for citizenship. Stupid crazy parents. And I bet her mom doesn't even speak English either.

Now that’s not right that’s the mom’s fault and the school department for not explaining thing’s to her. But being here and not knowing the school should have tried to help her get legal status. Schools know that children are here illegally.

I know of someone with this exact same story. It's fucked up to keep that hidden for so long and even worse to wait till they actually get a job to tell them. Anyhow once she found out, she went trough all the proper steps in order to become legal. it took years but she was legal by the age of 25. it's hard work, but here in America we work hard for what we want! I live by the saying " Dress for the job title you want, not your position "

I learned that in a government department, I show my license and Social Security number. They said I need a green card. Because my driver's license was not an ID and my Social Security fake. I got my driver's license more the 40 years of work in telecommunications and homeland security background also a USA passport. Birth certificates. I told them I was Chinese where you guys will deport me to NYC or Florida. The lady was an immigrant from South America. I'm Puerto Rican.😭😭😭😭Where can I get a green card?

samething happened to my friend 😂. And he lived in the US since he was 1 years old. And his mom got her citizenship when he was in high school after getting married to his stepdad . He thought he was born in the US. His mom never told him he was born in Mexico but lucky for him he was in school here since he was 4 years old. He got his citizenship quick and was able to get that job he applied for a couple months later.
