I ride the bus on occasion like when I leave my vehicle in the shop for repairs. and I am also elderly. The area for the elderly and disabled seating will be full with young students or young adults and they just sit there. Most times no one will get up and offer you a seat. When I was young we were taught to get up and offer our seat to the elderly or a woman. Even if I was a girl.
