In all honesty if that worker would have killed her legally she would have been covered she would have probably been fired but no criminal prosecution. she came behind the counter the worker feared for her life she didn't know what was in that womans purse.. Going behind the counter at a place of employment is considered basically breaking and entering so you are legally covered..now if you come from behind the counter to fight your legal protection is removed.
