The richest county in the state is just North of Indy. There's parts of Indy that people seem to forget about or they just don't know it's still Indy; such as, Zionsville, Geist, Northside of Lawrence, Castleton, Irvington, ect. There are actually very few areas of Indy that are like Gary. If people would stop polluting their neighborhoods with violence, drugs, and trash and treat it like they would their own mama's house then it would actually be beautiful AND peaceful like it once was. I grew up by 42nd and Post in the 80's and it was NOTHING like it is today. It's very sad that the people there don't care about taking control back from the criminals.

I’m from the east side of Indy but moved to Texas 3 months ago. I agree that it’s really gone downhill and if I were ever to move back to Indy it’ll will never move back to the east side.
