You have to use the parking break, then ease off the clutch into first with a good bit of gas, while stearing. It's not that hard with practice.

poor clutch
When I first learned to drive a standard my step brother took and parked my truck on a hill a wee bit steeper than that and told me to pull out. The next day I was revving high rpms, popping the clutch and jumping on the brake and roasting the tires. Done great in 1st and 2nd. A few years later I tried going to third one night and I broke my truck. It sounded like a piston rod broke (Iβm no mechanic). Truck was hard to start after that and had lost a bit of power and it sounded like shaking a pop can with a rock in it. Didnβt speed up like a rod knocking would with the rise of the RPMs. I ran the dog shit out of that truck though up until then.
