Just put in underground utilities there the pole and line repair costs have now exceeded the price of underground utilities there I’m guessing

Well where we live here. Rite by the roads/ streets criss cross each other. We used to have lotsa car accidents/. car crashes at the intersection of the roads/. streets here. They had to put in 4 traffic lights here in front of our house here. After that we had fewer car accidents/. car crashes here.
The pole is right on the edge of the road, and the road banks right towards it.
we live on a road with a blind curve to our left as we exit our driveway. No one in my family has ever been hit, including three teenage drivers and guests coming and going, but there has been about 6 collision (no deaths) at the curve. They did lower the speed limit. I think that has helped.

very interesting...we have many roads in Mo, that have caused a lot of deaths, especially teens, it could be hills, curves or whatever. Sometimes, the drivers need to slow down. We can't fix the roads, this is really sad.

Where I lived had the same problem, it was a straight road but they always hit the same pole. One day I stop and talked to one of the guys replacing it again I told him they should mount it on a spring back that way it would spring back up .

It's not a straight road, the curve ends at the pole. The box truck and car that lost its mirror was riding the white line on the shoulder.
This is in Massachusetts , few town ova I believe National Grid moved the pole back I remember this on the news
