Not enough time to stop, no. BUT, as a trucker, he shouldve been off that throttle and ready to stop as soon as he saw that car flying up the shoulder. He also shouldve braked as soon as the car flew i to his lane on the way to the grass. Its called SITUATIONAL AWARENESS.

I mean.... dude was slow as fuck for sure. he acted like he expected the car to keep going but when you see a car ahead of you losing control you start showing down immediately, not watch it like it's a TV show
had all the time in the world to tap the brakes as soon as he saw the car spinning out. slowing down ten miles in a truck is not hard for all who are thinking that.

He had more time than that. That is a HORRIBLE reaction time for any driver. I kick plenty of people outta the driver seat of their car and take over duties for them. The two that wanted to argue got punched in the side of the head while driving. And while that does make it just a little bit harder for me to take control of the vehicle, it does seem to have left a lasting impression on them and they both started driving better, so you're welcome.
Why was the truck in the left lane and passing vehicles? Guess the right lane isn’t good enough for the modern steering wheel holders. The wheel holder in the truck never tried to slow down.

dude had PLENTY of time to react. he chose not to slow down when he saw the idiot passing the truck on the right. not his fault, but he definitely could have prevented being involved. you have the responsibility as a truck driver to be aware of shit like that. he chose not to break when he saw impending danger. not blaming him. but he could have prevented being invovled in that crash. he was careless.
