The mercedes benz was doing roughly 150 mph on the shoulder when it encountered a stalled truck with a trailer. It then lost control as it tried to avoid it and slammed into the semis rear end. He perished on impact. RIP

I'm sorry for his death for whatever reason it happened. I feel for the truck driver because even though he didn't cause what happened, it must be devastating for him!🙏
It could have been a number of reasons, their fault, or maybe the manufacturer of the vehicle failed. In 2018, I used my cruise control most of the way when I came upon a road construction site with detours, I turned off my cruise control, it didn't work, my vehicle started to accelerate on its own, I pulled the emergency brake and had both feet on my brakes, nothing was stopping it, at 100 mph, I had no control of my vehicle, how was I going to get this thing stopped, I knew if I wrecked, everyone would think I was careless and lost control, so I put it in neutral, the engine still roared like a train, it slowed down enough to where I could get off the highway, the engine kept roaring until it blew, I got out and watched it burn to the ground in front of me, BTW I'd been on the phone with 911 for 3 minutes until I got it stopped, they were clueless as to what I should do. I'm lucky to be alive today, and I thank God every day. The brake mechanism failed to brake
If the guy did survive the initial crash he'll probably die cause it's gonna take hours to get the heavy duty wreckers there to lift the trailer up and off him should just dig a hole right there and bury him and his car

you know that's sad to see these accidents happening like that I've got many years on the road driving tractor trailer and I owned my own tour bus company at one time so I saw a lot of those kind of accidents you know your people distracted for one reason or another but when I was raising my kids and I talked and how to drive I told him it doesn't take but an instant to die in one of these cars and that's the perfect example you know and it's a shame that man or woman or whoever it was had to die like that you got to keep your mind on what you're doing that's sad it really is me being on the road all those years I saw a lot of accidents like that that's sad I pray for the people that's in the morning and I send my condolence to his family and loved ones my prayers go out to them. 🙏🙏🙏😔

Not an 18 wheeler! There’s other reasons why he might’ve hit the truck. Health problems, mechanical failure, and distracted driving—never ASSume. Calling the driver names doesn’t ease the pain for his family.

Years ago a car with3 young girls did the same thing. They were on WHP. Went right under a truck. All 3 were dead. I was a kid but I remember them talking about my dad picked up one girl and she had been and her head came off. So sad

The reason he was driving so fast is he had to meet that truck and couldn't be a minute late. My friend went around the railroad crossing guard, because he couldn't be late to meet a train. R. I. P. to this guy 🕊️✨
