Well, after reading about forty comments, let me clarify, most don’t have a handle of what’s happening here, my POV, the trucker is going down a 4 lane divided hwy, in the left lane, he’s tired and nodding in and out, just before a low quality piece of life pushes a bicycle in his path he opens his eyes and grabs the steering wheel with BOTH hands just prior to impact with the bicycle, the POS individual pushed the bicycle in front of him to get the driver to stop so he and others could hijack his load. THE THEIF COULD NOT HAVE KNOWN THE DRIVER WAS SLEEPY AND DID’NT DO THIS TO WAKE HIM-UNLESS HE HAD SUPERMANs SIGHT!
But that dude was close enough that the bike could have wiped him slick out when the trucker hit it. And that likely happened. Or at least pieces of the bike, shrapnel, likely went through that dude. Can only hope anyways, cause in this case he definitely deserved that Karma!

28 years doing that job and I always kept a sawed off .410 hanging from my sleeper curtain. In this scenario, it would only ruin ONE persons day, but would give you a chance to grab a gear and get rolling. I kept mine loaded with bird shot so it definitely would put somebody back out the hole they came in.
Looked like ghosts from someone's history. Not saying he hit them, but at that same time of night, & month, maybe years earlier, the cyclists must have met their fate. I see things like this alot. it's psychic phenomenon. I also channel spirits into lyrical compositions for reasons of sewing up loose ends of possible cold cases to do with mostly cases that can be solved from vehicle manufacturers to family inheritance, & roadway flaws. But I will say, that the dead want information to be correct for their here after.

I feel for trick drivers having to deal with this kind of thing. It wouldn't surprise me if the gangs use people as victims and throw them in front of a truck. I personally wouldn't stop. I'll take the fleeing the scene charge over facing gangs.

I wouldn't be stopping in the middle of the night In the middle of no where, for someone to be playing in the street with a bike. if your out that far that late at night with a bike, your up to no good. I feel like if the driver would have stopped he would have been robbed and possibly dead. he did the right thing to keep driving.
