my friend got a speeding ticket once , he was respectful to the cop , the cop wrote on the ticket ' very polite ' and the judge dismissed the ticket.
And that is how a police interaction should go.But when you act like an asshole , you get treated like an asshole

25 years as a officer. You hit the nail on the head. I have changed tickets even after I handed the violators their ticket . If their attitude didn’t changed after the citations were written I would take it back and write warning on it.
this is exactly how everybody should act when they deal with law enforcement there's no reason to act the way all these other peoples do I get it sometimes people are scared but if you don't give them a reason there's no reason for them but always have the dash cam

in 2008 I had a brand new 2008 Ninja ZX6R got caught on the freeway doing 100 and I blasted right off the freeway cop got behind me flashed his lights I stopped so quick he drove past me to the next exit I could have easily jumped back on and left him but he asked me waved me down to go to him so I did I told him I just got the bike lost it for a second got too excited he said I understand just don't ever do it again and let me off with a warning never in my life what I had expected a hundred miles an hour would have been a warning shout out to that cop
