I have a home in Western NC mountains and I have evidence of creatures walking on my property. I live in the woods where the Cherokee say these are the most haunted woods and they moved away from here 40 years ago . look up the legend of "the little People of the gorge". Just found a huge footprint close to my front door. I accidently left a small basket of apples out on my front step. the apples were gone the next day. bears dont mess with my apples. . I have recently put up a camera. . Im not sure I want to see. Since hurricane Helene. strange stuff in the mountains behind me hollaring. low growls . so much so I choose to stay with my mil than live at my beautiful cabin overlooking the rocky broad river. Its scary now to me. I will not go there alone ever!!
Fake, and I can prove it. I occupy part of the mountains in question I’ve interacted with numerous local folks. And I can confirm beyond a doubt none of the people that live here would run. They’re all armed to the teeth and see unexplained things chasing them as a chance to get rich and famous they’d def shoot it. Myself? Also armed but I got silver hollow points packed with obsidian and salt. But nothing has ever chased me through these hills and I’m pretty sure my ancestors got rid of all the wendigo

I hike the Appalachian Trail, I live in southern wv.ive heard things I can’t explain and seen things I’ve tried to explain,when I was younger I use to camp there on top of Peters Mountain in Monroe county the trail runs right on top of that mountain,I came out my tent use the bathroom about 2am I looked up and there was a UFO hovering above me it was about the size of a good size house and was completely silent it had lights on the bottom of it ,I told my mom I said that things lights on the bottom of it was identical to the movie .IT .. that Stephen King made same shape and everything, they flashed on and of and was gone just like that no noise no sound nothing
If there was something out there it would be mounted on the wall of some cabin or house . Down there you see it , shoot it , and then mount it .
I hiked the entire app trail by myself for 3/4 of it. nothing but normal noises from wildlife.

I have family on the trail and my cousin and I road atvs and camped on parts of the trail for over a week and not one time did I hear something that I could not figure out what it was always some sort of animal , a deer snort . fox bark , coyote howling , Bob cat scream , owl makin noise all kinds of animals if you do not have control of your mind when in the dark your mind will go rampant with movie crap ... I had a great time that was years ago like 35 yrs ago either way we was in the part of WV and VA. about 22 mils if I remember it wasn't long for atvs but we had a good time .. I highly recommend it if your not scared of the dark ...
