The thing we don’t know is these kids want this…. If they ask you for your son you give the monks your son it is the biggest honor to be a monk because it is not just given it is earned through a life time of training from day one not year 20

that is most definitely abuse. im tough on my seeds but I would put a damn tree on their back and make them squat on two logs 4 feet of the ground. the kid is clearly in pain. it takes time to do those things right. what is the rush anyhow. we're not in the 13th century fight off the Mongols, smh

Definitely teaches discipline but it’s a little bit extreme. There are other ways to push and strengthen the mind of a child. So yes it’s abuse to break the boys will. Once this is too overwhelming for them, then rebellion comes next. Everyone is different though

Depends on what the kid wants. To put a child through this against his/her will is totally abuse.

everyone who is saying abuse is weak minded and has never been held accountable. absolutely pathetic. that kid will grow to be a very understanding person with self-control 😳.

I guess it's better then beating the ish outta your kids , discipline is a must when raising a boy to a man and a girl to a women yes in different ways of course but as long as it's building towards something or correcting a disrespectful mistake there shouldn't be problem cause let me tell you if you don't teach them the right way when there young about respect or what have you someone eventually will in there own way and people out here in this world are very careless and unforgiving

the race to be strong fearless respectable kind not like our children here in the United States they're soft they're rude they're just they're just disrespectful they have nothing for nobody they have they have nothing for them so I'm not saying this is the way to do it but I guarantee that young man will grow up to be strong and fearless and respectable I'm not saying that's the way to do it but I mean I guarantee that young man will grow up to do something special he's crying now but they'll be a day when he can do that and not cry you ask one of our kids a kid to do something like that our kids to do something like that they've never learned to not cry they'd be crying to from time to pick it up and they've never be able to do it our kids are soft they are soft they're disrespectful they have no respect for their self or anybody else that's why I say no child hearing the United States could do what that little boy is doing
